Welcome to Bhutan! Touching down at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide. Drive to Thimphu and visit the Takin Preserve to see the National Animal of Bhutan.

Visit Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, Thimphu Dzong (seat of the King's office), National Memorial Chorten, Paper making factory, Simtokha Dzong, and the Centenary Farmers' Market.

Visit Dochula Pass with its 108 chortens, Punakha Dzong at the fork of two rivers, and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.

Visit Chhimi Lhakhang via a 20-minute walk through terraced fields. Pass through Wangdue town and view Wangdue Phodrang Dzong perched dramatically on a hill.

Explore Phobjikha Valley, winter home of the endangered Black-necked crane. Visit Gangtey Goempa monastery dating back to the 17th century.

Drive to Paro Valley, home to many old monasteries and views of Mount Chomolhari. Visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong) and Ta Dzong National Museum.

Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). Visit Drukgyal Dzong ruins and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
